What I cannot understand is, how the fuck do two trains have a head-on collision in the Panhandle of Oklahoma? You can see for something like 400 miles in every direction.

  4. Actually, that's not right. In mountain country you can see for miles and miles. In flat country you can't see past the first house or first tree between you and whatever comes next.

    When I lived in Brunswick, GA (only six months, thank G-d) you could only see for a short distance because it was so flat. Only on the beach could you see for any distance, and that was out into the ocean.

    It sucked. Just like much of OK sucks. (My wife is from OK, so I'm entitled to say that ;-)
