Storebought cats? Nah, I'll pass.

You ever get a craving for catfish but don't have any in the freezer so you run down to the store and buy some? Don't.
Chances are it came from Vietnam - they're a major producer of farm raised catfish. Stay the fuck away from it. Wrench sent me a link to a video showing the nasty fucking conditions that they're raised in - it's a wonder Americans aren't dying like flies.
Check it out for yourself.

  2. If it ain't caught wild, it's usually sick, even though pumped full of antibiotics, usually is bad for the environment, and you don't know where it's been.

Besides it tastes like shit. Shrimp from indonesia is raised in ponds that are pumped full of poison to kill the bacteria and parasites, so, you get a shrimp full of drugs and dead bugs. Yummy!

  3. Crawfish tailmeat, too. They're raised in the bottom of the catfish tanks.

  4. Hey looks about like catfish production in Mississippi, except the processing plant is cleaner there than here. Lived in the Delta of Mississippi for years trust me the imported is safer.
